

Marise Ganthier was born on June 7, 1949 in Petion-Ville, Haiti to Rene Ganthier and Brigitte Barreau. She was the youngest of five children. She immigrated to the United States as a young lady ready to embark on an exciting, fun filled life. She chose to become a cosmetologist and studied at Grace Beauty Academy in New York. She then married Marc Nicholas Bleck and they blessed this world with their only child Rene Marc Bleck.
Marise later moved her family to Miami and embarked on a profitable and successful career of being a proprietor of her own beauty salon. She worked long hours but never complained she greeted every customer with a smile and every request she responded with, “No Problem”! She gave to her family unconditionally, who loved her back and the Haitian Community where she based her business for 40 years.
Marise was a provider, a giver and a believer of family. She provided a comfortable life for her mother who preceded her in death. Marise was called home to reunite with her brother Pierre Jean Ganthier and her sister Marie Renee Ganthier whom preceded her in death.
Marise leaves behind a legacy through her child Rene M. Bleck, granddaughters Jada D. Tassy and Renise D. Bleck; siblings Ninon Jolly and Serge Ganthier; Aunts Fernande Baptiste and Solange Barreau-Desdunes and Uncle Michel Barreau. Along with a host of loving relatives and friends who were touched by her love and kindness.
