
Martha Ulmo Roberts, Passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015. She was born May 11, 1930, in Havana, Cuba, and in 1960 exiled to the United States, where she raised four children and worked as a nurse for many years. Martha is remembered as being exceptionally affectionate with a quick wit and great sense of humor. She had a deep compassion for animals, traveled widely, thoroughly enjoyed her Manhattans and getting dressed up. Most especially, she loved to cook and care for her grandchildren. Martha was also very devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Her family and those who knew her will miss her deeply. She is survived by her husband Hector Roberts, Sr. her children, Martha Garcia, Hector Roberts, Jr. and Elizabeth Lissarrague. Grandchildren (who affectionately called her “Belita”) Christina, Sebastian and Michael Garcia, Lauren Adrover, Gabriel and Peter Lissarrague, Kelly, Natalie and Ryan Roberts, her sister Isabel Ulmo Hernandez, her children Marcelo and Rudy Hernandez along with many grand nieces and nephews and her first great-grandson Jude Adrover Surber. Martha joins her beloved son Anthony Adrover who waits in heaven. She will always be in our hearts. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18, 6-10pm, Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 117 Ave, Miami (305) 238-3672. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 11am, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 12125 SW 107 Ave, (305) 255-6642, burial to follow.
