Martha Tió, 87, of Hialeah Gardens, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2025.
Born on May 11, 1938 in Havana, Cuba. Martha was the beloved daughter of Federico Tió and Leonor Menendez de Tió. She grew up surrounded by the love of her four sisters - Leonor, Esther, Mirtha and Yolanda - and built a life rooted in family, tradition and a deep appreciation for travel. Many of her most cherished memories were made on trips shared with her sisters and brothers-in-law.
A proud graduate of Trelles University in Havana, Martha earned a degree in Business Administration and went on to enjoy a fulfilling career as an accountant and controller. But beyond her professional accomplishments, her greatest pride and joy was always her family. She is survived by her loving children - Joaquin, Jorge, Julio and Martha - their spouses, her 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her devoted sisters, their spouses and many nephews and nieces who adored her.
Martha Tió’s legacy is one of strength, grace and unconditional love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. We will miss you always.
