MaryAnn (Buzzella) Freeman

Mary Ann was born in Coral Gables, Florida, a graduate of the Immaculata Academy, class of 1960, and resided in South Miami, Florida. She managed the South Miami Hospital Child Development Center for over 20 years, and adored the children who attended the center.

Growing up as the eldest of 13 children, she carried with her a nurturing spirit filled with love and compassion in all she did.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Freeman, Jr., her parents R.W. and Mary (Boone) Buzzella, Sisters Jeanne (Paul) Fuller, Rita (Richard) Delaney and brother Joseph (Betty) Buzzella.

Her family was truly her greatest joy. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a loving Aunt, sister and friend.

She is survived by her children; Theresa (Mark) Zollo, Robert (Maribel) Freeman, Lori (Carl) Miller, Cathy (Dennis) Bixby and Richard A. Freeman.

Grandchildren: Nicole, Amanda, Lori Michelle, Nicholas, Matthew, Shannon, Samantha, Sarah, and Dennis Jr. Great-grandchildren: Robert William, Michael, Savannah, Santiago, Aubry, Aidyn and Alaya.

Brothers: Robert W. (Alberta) Buzzella, Jr., James (Izzy) Buzzella, Michael (Marygail) Buzzella, Ernest (Donna) Buzzella, Anthony (Abby) Buzzella, Steve (Amparo) Buzzella, John (Cindy) Buzzella, David (Teri) Buzzella, Richard (Diane) Buzzella and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary Ann had a beautiful soul and her love showed through and touched the lives of many. She was the heart, the glue and the rock of our family and will be deeply missed.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 25th at 12:00pm in

section 16 of the Caballero Rivero Woodlawn Park South Cemetery.
