Mrs. Mercedes R. de Yañes Our beloved Pichy—the “Little One” as her father called her, and as she was known all her life—passed away peacefully in the afternoon of November 10, 2015. Her extensive life of 95 years, from her humble beginnings in San Juan, Argentina, touched many people in three continents, who always commented about her zest for life, her ready smile and easygoing attitude. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Juan Alberto, her four surviving children, Armando, Carlos, Laura and Jose. Her oldest son, Alberto is now reunited with her in Glory. Pichy also enjoyed 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Please join us at her funeral service to be held at Woodlawn South Cemetery in Miami; on Thursday the 12th at 8:00 pm. Visitation starts at 5:00 pm.
