I am very saddened to have learned about the death of Michael. Baba, as he is affectionately known was a friend of mine. As teenagers, we played cricket and socialized in other ways.

I have a very fond memory of you Baba and thank you for the calendar bearing the painting of the Jamaica Military Band member you gave me which I framed and which is still hanging on my wall.

My deepest sympathy to your entire family.

Our hearts are heavy and no amount of words are adequate in moments like these. I will say though, that our hearts go out to you, Jenny and the entire family. Our HOP has lost a loving and kind soul. Michael, you get to finally give your last prepared sermon. May all of heaven hear and know you are indeed God’s good and faithful servant. We will always remember the joyous memories and that we are blessed to have known you. May you soar with your brand-new wings Pastor “Mike”. Love, Mildred Walker
