Miguel "Mike" Angel Borro was born 28 July 1957 in Havana, Cuba. He came to the United States at an early age and honorably served in the United States Air Force. Mike became a dedicated aeronautics engineer. It never took long to see how intelligent and unconventional his mind was. Mike embodied the motto "adapt, improvise, overcome" in everything he did. He was a man of good humor, and could have a room full of people laughing within minutes of meeting him. He was a devoted son, brother, father, and husband. Miguel passed away 20 November 2020 and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his mother, Gladys Borro, his sisters, Flor Avila and Gladys Bejel, his daughters, Kimberly and Michelle, and his wife, Isabel.

A visitation for Miguel will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 8:00 AM at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 BIRD RD, MIAMI, FL 33155. Following the visitation will be a burial at 1:00 PM at Miami Memorial Park, 6200 SW 77th Ave, Miami, FL 33143.

Dear Miguel, we met a few times, but it was easy to establish a good relationship between us. You have been a constant point of reference for us and your professionalism that you have spent on our company is proof of how important you were to us. When they told me of your death, it grieved me greatly, I am close to the pain of your relatives to whom I offer my deepest condolences. Bon voyage Miguel

I knew Mike from his first day in Hitachi, a few years but characterized by an intense attendance almost daily, so I could appreciate his intelligence, his dedication and his availability, the ability to analyze and solve problems always with the utmost calm and professionalism, but also the sympathy and pleasure to listen to his anecdotes and talk to him about everything, from finance to hunting, maybe in front of a glass of aged Macallan. That’s how I want to remember him, smiling...
So long Mike...

I met Miguel during the training courses in Miami.

He always supported us, as suppliers during our missions, always with the highest availability, always with a good word, always with a smile on his face.

A real professionist, respected by everyone, we will miss him a lot.

I didn't have the chance to meet him outside the work for a beer or a dinner, but I would have loved to.

Thanks Miguel, we won't forget you !

Rest in peace
Pierluca
