Myriam Lima, beloved mother and grandmother, went to her heavenly home on May 1, 2026. Born on 11/18/1941 in Cardenas, Matanzas, Cuba she led a servants life demonstrating her faith through her love and devotion to her church, family and friends. Her home was opened to many who needed a place to live, sometimes for a few weeks and other times for a few years. Cooking and baking became her favorite for serving those in need and helping raise funds at church and her beloved school. She also served with joy her alumni association, a school that brought her to her faith. Her car was often full of friends needing her help with errands and enjoying her company. Her contagious laughter reflected the joy she had in her heart and brought happiness to those around her.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Myriam, granddaughters Miranda and Marcella, son-in aw Roberto. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years Raudilio Lima and her parents Hildelisa Diaz and Ramon Hernandez.
Visitation will take place on Monday 5/11 from 6 to 11 pm with a religious service at 7:30 pm. She will be laid to rest on Tuesday 5/12, meeting at the funeral home at 9:00 am and departing at 10:30am to the cemetery for burial services at 11:00 am.
The family has requested donations to the activities department at Jackson Memorial Perdue, where she resided the last 4 years, in lieu of flowers.
"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
