Peggy was a beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend whose life was defined by love, laughter, and light. Born on April 17, 1937, in Kingston, Jamaica, to the late Clarice and Ivan Davis, Peggy’s warm heart and radiant smile served as a beacon that made everyone feel at home.
A gifted seamstress and homemaker, Peggy poured her creativity into sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking, and gardening. Her kitchen was the heart of every gathering, filled with the scent of her cooking and the sound of stories shared across generations. She nurtured not only her family but also her community, offering a listening ear, a kind word, and a place of comfort to all who were fortunate to know her.
Peggy’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind a living legacy in her five children, Dennis, Esther, Jacqueline, Sandra, and Maxine; her ten grandchildren; and her nine great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her love, traditions, and resilience.
Her family will forever remember her as a woman of gentle humor, endless generosity, and unwavering kindness— a matriarch whose presence was a blessing and whose memory will always be a guiding light in their lives.
