Rhonda Skubick, 58, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at Miami Baptist Hospital as a result of complications related to emergency surgery. Rhonda was born Sept. 12, 1957, in Atmore, Ala. She worked as a customer service representative at Assurant in Miami, Fla. She is survived by her husband, Daryl; her sons, Stephen (Donna) and Daniel; stepchildren, Matthew, Greg and Valerie; half brothers, Jeffery, Cliff and Derek; half sister, Bobbi Jo; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Alyne, and her father, Francis Eugene Amerson. Services will be held between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at CABALLERO RIVERO CEMETERY AND FUNERAL HOME/WOODLAWN PARK SOUTH, 11655 SW 117 Ave., Miami, FL 33186.
