Daddy yesterday was the first time I went to your grave and I must admit that it was difficult. This whole situation has been hard but I know you prepared us to the best of your abilities, although we didn't see it coming. There are just so many mixed feelings but I know that its part of the grieving process. The most overwhelming feeling that I have is being so proud of you. You have touched so many peoples lives. You had every religion praying for you, even the nonbelievers. Life is made up of stages and this stage had a devastating ending but I did learn a lot. I have always believed in our religion but now I have a better understanding as we implored for a  miracle, and this was something you always tried to instill in us. I remember every Sunday watching Joel Osteen. Daddy I miss you but I know you're in my heart and mind every single day. I must admit though I miss having dreams with you, it helped me cope a little better. You know one thing that I realized that unfortunately when someone loses someone dear to them they regret not telling them something. I however had the opportunity to have really good communication with you. I'm glad I told you about a million times that I love you and that you were the best dad. I'm glad that I laid down with you every single weekend, I'm glad that I was able to sneak you sweets so mommy didn't notice. I'm grateful for every single dinner that we had as a family, That's something kids don't experience anymore. There is not a moment in my day where something doesn't reminds me of you: in the morning when I put on my makeup I remember how you loved my comitas (my eyebrows) or when I drive I remember how we sat in the car while it was off and had me memorized where the pedals were (gasolina, frena, gasolina, frena) (it sure comes in handy). I remember how you made fun of the way I painted my nails. You would tell "mija you don't have to paint your whole finger" and I always tried to show you that after I cleaned my fingers no one would notice. But you would be proud now because I have mastered it. The other day I watched a movie about a little boy that lost his father. He used to love playing basketball but now because he lost his father he refused to play or even smile. His aunt told him "your dad is looking over you, do you really want him to be watching a boring kid all day?"  That touched my heart I want to live my life and make you proud every step of the way so that when you're looking over me, as my angel, you could say THATS MY GIRL! You more than anyone know who and how I am,  I truly have no idea where I got the strength that I have to go through this disastrous moment. The only explanation I have is YOU! You were there for my first smile, words, steps, graduation, and jobs. You were there through my heart breaks and when I found my prince charming. You were there at my wedding and at our first place. And I know know you will be there for all the stepping stones to come. I will make sure that Papa Tony's legacy will live on forever. Daddy I love you, protect me in the sanctuary of your wings, and guide me with your wisdom. Rest in heaven daddy I'll see you in my dreams.

Para el Compadre, who would have thought this day would come so fast. I understand that we all live to someday go back to our “creator of the universe” as you called him. 
I called you one Saturday morning to tell you that I had a dream with Doña Tina and you were taking care of her in the old house, you told me “everything is going to be okay” and that “your Uncle is okay”. You knew already and I know you could feel this day was near. You kept on telling me “buy a house already so that I can have the opportunity to help you fix the house up”.
I remember the first day you told the family the bad news and I didn't cry because I thought almost every man passes through this. You are a fighter and a very strong person. I read that 1 out of 6 men will have prostate cancer and 2.5 million men in the U.S will live after having prostate cancer. I thought that everything would be okay, but it grew to something else.
You are a father figure to me. I thank you for showing me a variety of life lessons that have helped me succeed so far through out my life. Even the simple things as changing the starter from a red Toyota pick up truck. Those Chinese really know how to make fixing things a whole lot easier. Or the time we went fishing on the boat. We caught a lot of fish that day, even though you had to take all of the fish off of my fishing hook because they didn't die fast enough for me. 
You would of rather go out and enjoy life instead of staying indoors. I saw so many changes through out your life. You are such a diverse person. Only one can imagine what you have lived through.
Life is a roller coaster, you go through the lows and the highs. Its up to you in order to make the best of the situation. Although you are not with us, the memories are stamped in out thoughts and in our hearts for a lifetime. 
Bueno compadre, we will all see you sooner or later. Hasta luego

Thank you Tony for all the wonderful memories you have placed in our hearts. You have taught me that life should be about spending time together with friends and family, and spending your time learning new things. You would tell Berman and I “go out and do something, don't worry about what to eat”.
From the first time Kathy introduced me to you, I got to experience new things. From the time you took us all to the beach to spend the night, to the days we all would go out to black point to watch the people on the boats, and simply to just spending time at the house as a family watching movies, talking and spending time together. You taught me how to dance to the Rhythm “1-2-3, 1-2-3” you would say to me. 
I am very thankful to have met you and have all these very special memories you left with us.

I give thanks for all the beautiful moments that you gave us, I always remember everytime in my bday you always found a way to make me something and never let it pass by,  it made me feel very special that you and your family went through all the trouble for me.
You're were always adventurous, full of joy, creative, you gained the respect from me and others cause you gave yourself to others with no hesitation, your were always there and above all always followed your heart, that's why I know you did all the things that you wanted to do.
I know that the empty space that you leave in our hearts will be filled with all the memories, lessons, special moments that you gave us and we'll always remember you by that!!!
