My son Anthony had a best friend in kindergarten Rodrigo Ruiz. They would go to visit my parents after school and play. Rodrigo spent time with our family and we all loved him and enjoyed his sense of humor especially when he and Anthony did their Beaves and Buthead routine.  It was always a joy to see him thru the years and watch him grow into a man.  He touched my heart and will be remembered with love.

It was my good fortune to know Rodrigo since he attended kindergarten with my son Anthony. They have been best friends since. We have always considered him part of our family. I am proud of Rodrigo for his accomplishments and never ending giving of himself to all of us. Rest In Peace my friend.

Rodrigo! Man! I met you when we first started Soflosubies, I am so proud of you and your accomplishments with WRXperts. You made an amazing business idea from our group. You were always there to help me out. You helped me with my car and you helped me move and pack all my stuff before going to dental school. You are an amazing person and you will be missed thoroughly. We didn’t keep in touch as much as we should have but you were always on my mind. I love you man! Thank you for all the memories! 

That one time I blew up my bugeye (lol which time, right?) - you not only coached me through the process and worked your ass off to fix it quickly...you leant me your own WRB STi to drive for a couple of days. I was so nervous driving that car. I made sure to warm it up every time from a cold start exactly like you told me to. I remember thinking it had to be a dream - no one who puts the kind of heart, sweat, tears, and money into cars the way we do would EVER think of lending their pride and joy out to a near stranger. But that's the kind of person you were. This wasn't the shirt off your back - it was more than that. I was able to make it to work those days solely because of you and your unbelievable generosity. 

There's more - the time I interviewed you and Juan for a website project that never got off the ground, but gave me a bunch of insight into your journey to WRXperts. The Mexican Coke debacle. Every time that you somehow mixed in your ridiculous humor while also schooling me on Subarus...The bottom line is you made a memorable indent on all us, and I think that's all anyone could hope for in life. 

My heart aches for your family. All I can say is thank you. I'm so grateful I had the chance to know you. 

Since the day you were born I knew you were another blessing in my life, your heart was full of love to give and share with everyone, had to admit you were always a handful with your mischiefs but your smile could melt me so quickly... I will miss you my son, but I know I have to surrender to God’s will and know in the bottom of my heart that you are happy and at peace. Love you forever!!


You are missed Rodrigo! We love you and will help watch over your love, Sandy. We’ll definitely miss all the great times and laughs we had together. May you Rest In Peace.

The joke I always heard was that you could tell the temperature outside by the number of shirts Rod had gone through during the work day.  However many shirts it was, however hot the temperature outside, Rod was always smiling and willing to help someone out.  May he rest in peace.

Thank you for your friendship and generosity on helping us when we first came into the Subaru community. I am going to missed when you and the boys from WRXperts show up to my shop. The laughs was always memorable. Rest in peace my friend. See you in the next life. - Richard Wong  

As a new member to the Subaru community and a first time Subaru owner. I reached out to WRXPERTS and Rodrigo answered the call. Not only was he helpful but he asked me down to the shop. Instead of just doing the repair I thought I needed We went for a drive in my car just so he can prove that the repair wasn’t needed!!! And he taught me how to drive a Subaru! Rod my bro you made an impact on me!!
