Hola Abuelo!

You made my first trip to New York so memorable! I went up with Grisel and the grandkids. We had a great time walking around Park Slope and just eating, talking, and eating more of Yaya's food!

Years later Josie and I went to New York and we were close to your house.  We ran into you in the street and you welcomed us inside with open arms. We talked and ate for hours. In the end, Josie told me, "Wow! This is the type of Cuban family I always wanted."

Abuelo and Yaya, I am so happy I met you. Take care of yourselves up there!

It has been many many years since I last saw this wonderful man, and his late wife. Still, to this day, I have very fond memories of them both. They were both very kind to my brother Rob, and I during our younger years. My heart felt condolences to the whole family, and everyone that new them.

It happens with Great Loves like YAYA & ABEULO have... May they be in ETERNAL REST Together!  We are honored that we were always loved like Family. My Condolences to you all (❤️Geisel & Gee❤️) We love you!🙏❤️

Hello family. 

I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. I cannot believe the 6 months that you guys have been through. I would like to say that with time, all losses heal, but they don’t. Some will miss more than others, some will cry more than others, and some will need a shoulder to cry on. I may not know all of the family, but I will be a listening ear and somebody you can lean on for support. Francessca told me a lot about Abuelo and  Yaya.  Those two are finally together and will be together for eternity. I may not of met the guy, but he sounds like an amazing man, father and friend. All of you are in our prayers.
