He served in the Air Force branch of the military. He managed a family business, Ted & Stan’s Towing with his sister Teresa Barreto.
He was a 33rd Degree Mason and Past Master of Biscayne Bay Lodge, Past Potentate of the Mahi Shrine, and Past Worthy Patron of the West Miami Chapter of the Eastern Star.
He graduated from Miami Coral Park Senior High and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Miami Dade Community College.
He is survived by his brother James Mykytka & his wife Patrice; sister Marilyn Hirsch & her husband Stanley; sister Teresa Barreto & her fiancé Ricky Martinez; 2 nephews: Richard, Quinn & his wife Adrienne; 5 nieces: Amber and her husband Reynaldo, Heather and her husband Raul, Katie, Yasha, Sophia; 1 great nephew: Rey; 4 great nieces: Idelim and her husband Doug, Coral, Summer, and Isabella.
A visitation for Stanley will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135. His burial will occur Friday, September 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North, 3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.
