Teresita J Sanchez, 80, passed away on November 2, 2026. Born February 16, 1946, in Cuba, Teresita later made her home in Miami, Florida, where she remained surrounded by the people and places she held dear.
For 50 years, Teresita shared her life in marriage to Antonio Sanchez, a bond marked by devotion and steadfast partnership. Throughout her life, she was a beloved presence to those who knew her—someone whose compassion was felt in quiet, constant ways and whose love was expressed through attentive care and a nurturing spirit.
Teresita’s sense of adventure could be seen in her love of travel and the many places she was able to experience. She also found joy in dancing, in the simple pleasure of sweets, and in the everyday beauty of flowers—especially roses. Above all, she cherished family, and her legacy is one of caring for and providing for those she loved with patience, tenderness, and unwavering dedication.
Teresita is survived by her daughter, Teresita Magdaleno; and her sons, Juan Sanchez and Jorge Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Antonio Sanchez.
