Waldo Toyos

Waldo Toyos, beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 74. Born to Hilda (predeceased) and Waldo J Toyos on December 21, 1950 in Sagua La Grande, Cuba as the eldest of two children. Waldo was a spirited youth raised during a tumultuous time, escaping the Castro regime at the age of 15. He would start anew in Miami, FL where he would meet the love of his life, Susana. They would spend 54 beautiful years together building a life of experiences and a large, loving family. Waldo is survived by his wife, Susana; his two sons, Waldo Toyos III (JC) and Frank (Yani). He leaves a legacy of ten grandchildren who were the pride of his life.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A viewing will be held at Caballero Rivero Westchester, located at 8200 Bird Rd, Miami, FL 33155, on September 25, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The mass will take place at the Church of the Little Flower, 2711 Indian Mound Trail, Coral Gables, FL 33134, on September 26, 2025 at 11:30 am.

Following the ceremony, the burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL 33172, on September 26, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
