Sadly I have not seen my cousin Whitney since I was a child. Now I know why I love to dance! I'm so proud of him for his accomplishments as a man and a Martin! We will lift up the family in prayer during this time. We hope to see all of you soon. God Bless.

Whitney was a happy unique and fun individual, he marched to his own drum and there was always a beat in his step. He was always full of life and laughter. I will miss you Seorito!

Another thing to remember about Whitney's life is how generous he was to long years of serving at the breast cancer diagnostic center in Harlem.

Uncle Whitney was, and will always be, a superstar.  I'll never forget the Uncle Whitney dance, and his overall composed, yet hilarious demeanor.  He lived life on his own terms, and, from a young age, his autonomy definitely inspired the way I navigate my life.  Usted estar siempre en mi corazn, To Whitney.

He brightened up a room with his vivacious and loving presence. I remember always looking forward to attending a social function if I knew Uncle Whitney would be there. We could always count on a grin or smirk and watching his amazing dance moves. I will always remember that smile. We'll always remember and love you, Tio.

Uncle Whitney was vivacious, good-hearted and fun. I am blessed to have many wonderful memories of my dear uncle and I will never, ever forget him.

Uncle Whitney was the eldest of three brothers; and yet the most outgoing and fun loving.  I wish you eternal peace.

Whitney was my senior cousin and was the life of the party.  He was a joy to be around.  Always playing pranks and just plain fun loving.  He had style and was suave all of the time.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
