Early Friday morning, May 8, 2026, our amazing "Mami" and "Abuelita" took her last earthly breath surrounded by loved ones. It was bittersweet, yet beautiful nonetheless as she courageously fought for days till the very end. She was a smart, resilient, selfless, virtuous, honest, and bold woman of God who was dedicated to her family and helped others in need. She married Armando Torres and pursued a new life in America, leaving Cuba in 1958 during a time of uncertainty. They were later blessed with four daughters born and raised in Miami, FL while she worked as a realtor for 45+ years. We know that she is entrusted into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her eternal home, where there's no more pain, no more tears and is complete and whole! Our minds can only imagine her sitting and listening to all her heroes of the faith. We can just see her smiling, talking with everyone in heaven since she loved storytelling so much. Most of all, we think of the joyous reunions with her husband and first born daughter, rejoicing in God's glory with them too. Please continue to pray for the family, and the impact she made on so many lives that knew and loved her. We thank everyone for the years of steadfast love and prayers during the difficult seasons. Love you all very much - The Torres Family.
Our family would be deeply touched by flowers to celebrate her life and fill the service with beauty. We recommend arrangements from Creation Station Flowers
