

BROCKMAN, Alice Marie, age 73 of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday February 28, 2017 at Livingston Care Center, Dayton. She was born April 9, 1943 in Middletown, OH to the late Raymond and Mildred (Gressle) Brockman. In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by sisters-in-law Crystal Brockman and Mary Brockman and beloved Jack Russell, Ouiser Boudreaux. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Molly (Harlan) Knox of Dayton; siblings, Donna (Danny) Landess of Kettering, David (Vicki) of Granville and Ronald Brockman of Alabama; niece and nephews, Cheryl Maynard, Michael Savage, Matthew Savage and Christopher Brockman; a dear friend, JoAnn Baker and her cat, Stormy. Alice was a 1961 graduate of Miamisburg High School and enjoyed a long career in retail and service. She was employed by Papa’s pizza Palace, Miamisburg and had worked as a floral designer locally. She was retired after 15 years with Walmart Corporation as an accounting associate in the cash office. In her leisure, Alice enjoyed her down time by relaxing with her favorite TV programs and spoiling her pets. A gathering of friends and family will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A service will immediately follow at 12:00pm Monday, also at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor John Swint. Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg will serve as Alice’s final resting place.
