She graduated from Miamisburg High School. Anita was a hairdresser for forty years and retired from Delphi with ten years of service. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and astrology.
She is survived by her children; Rhonda (Steve) Arnold and Nick (Chasity) Penwell; brothers, Archie (Martha Dee) Day and Richard Day; sisters, Karlene Rowland and Virginia Doty; grandchildren, Patrick Arnold, Leah Arnold, Shelley Winegarner, Sonny Naylor, Megan Knoph, Jordan Branch, Karley Penwell and Nick Penwell Jr.; six great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Naylor.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 – 3 pm Saturday September 1, 2018 in the First Baptist Church, 323 N. 11th Street, Miamisburg followed by the memorial service 3 pm with Pastor Mark Leach officiating.
