Barbara L. (Leitz) Middleton, age 94, lifelong resident of Miamisburg, passed away at home on Friday, May 15, 2026. Barbara was born June 8, 1931, in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1949. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, William C. and Sudie (Harrison) Leitz; and brother, Paul D. Leitz.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Glenna Gallimore of Germantown; son, David Middleton of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Jason (Nikki) Gallimore, Kevin (Amber) Gallimore, Abbey Middleton, and Annie Hollon; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Angel-Gallimore and Evan Shade; and one great-great-grandchild, Wilder Angel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 11:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 pm at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Ave. Miamisburg, Ohio with Deacon Terry Martin officiating. Graveside services will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
