Bernal Enrique Mata, 68, of Centerville, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 in Kettering Medical Center. He was born December 20, 1949 in Cartago, Costa Rica, the son of Antonio y Rosalia G de Mata. He owned and operated AquaTicos Ornamental Pond Business until his retirement. He loved traveling, quilting, soccer and Willy’s Trucks. He is survived by his wife Shirley (Lamb) Mata, whom he married April 23, 1977; brother, Felix (Maureen) in Durango, Colorado; sisters, Norma, Ana Lorena, Sonia, Rosi, Mariangella and Marjorie (James); brother-in-law, Victor Chacon; sister-in-law, Ana Martinez all of Costa Rica; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bill Spencer; mother-in-law, Mary Frances Lamb; numerous nieces, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces in OH, CR, CA, CO; Mario Ruano’s special family.
