Betty M. Ullery

Ullery, Betty M., age 86 of West Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Elmcroft of Washington Township Assisted Living. She was born May 14, 1926 in West Carrollton to the late Charles and Louise Katherine (Thoma) Denny. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Floyd E. in 2010, her daughter, Linda Lee Jund in 2000; sister, Frances Denny and infant brother, Donald. Betty is survived by her children, Kay Louise (Jack) Gadd of Summerfield, FL and Donald E. (Diane) Ullery of West Carrollton; grandchildren, Tracy (Troy) Fleizig, Cyndi (Hank) Gibson, Karla (Anthoy) Trask, Kevin Gadd, Brian (Jennifer) Gadd; great grandchildren, Ryan, Jake, Travis, Grace, Carson, Preston, Ryder and Lindley, and special cousin, Sylvia Denny. Betty was a 1943 graduate of Trotwood High School and devoted her life to her family. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, West Carrollton where she served as the Sunshine Chairman for many years and participated heavily in many other church activities. She was also a member of the Miamisburg Senior Citizens and enjoyed square dancing, reading and sewing. Betty was a caregiver at heart and shared her infinite love with many foster children over the years. The family would like to express their gratitude to Crossroads Hospice and Elmcroft for their mother’s extraordinary care. Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 AM Friday, June 1, 2012 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home and officiated by Pastors Andy Wagner and Bruce Moore. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton.
