I knew her as 'Kay,' her pen name--but also as Brenda--she was a true friend--someone who gave for the sake of giving and never expected anything in return. May the people she touched through her rich life be enriched as I was from the time I knew her. RIP my sweet friend, and may your writing carry on--where ever you may be--your true love of life--writing.....

Brenda was a dear friend of mine. Though we didn't see each other as often as we wanted - we would meet for coffee and have girl chat every few months. We would call each other "just to check in" every month or so. I hadn't been able to reach her for sometime. Tonight a mutual friend came into where I work and told me about her death. She was a cherished, loving person. I will miss her the rest of my life. I can't believe she's gone. Seth and I share the same birthday. Seth to you if you need to talk or want anything call Miss Phyllis. I'll end by saying what we always said - Goodbye, I love you.

Brenda we celebrated your life at Seth's old school St Albert the Great during their Mass dedicated to you and your memory. It still doesn't seem possible you aren't going to breeze into the office with your trademark brisk walk, quick smile and great laugh any moment. You impacted so many people in your life...mine included, you are so missed. So very missed...

I just found out....I can't believe it. You were so sweet and encouraging and a woman who supported other women. I'll miss your cheery and encouraging texts.

I knew Brenda and Seth during my time at Central Presbyterian Church. I am deeply saddened by the news of her tragic accident. May her light continue to shine through Seth and the rest of her family.

Brenda and I worked well together when it came to writing. We worked even better as friends. Although we never met face to face we planned on it when our lives calmed down...but until then we just kept plugging away. She called me "Harley Girl" a nickname I'll keep forever and always be reminded of her. I miss ya chick. We miss you. Here's to the Unicorns...and rainbows. we even have a little site set up for you that we will do something special with. We kept your name. <3
