Cleo Jean Jones

Jones, Cleo Jean, age 92 of Dublin, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. She was born December 3, 1921 in Hamilton, OH to the late John Harry and Estella (Nash) McNutt. In addition to her parents, Cleo was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. Jones, Jr. on January 28, 2008; a grandson, Jacob Daniel Keener on July 21, 1996 and a son-in-law, Daniel M. Keener on March 20, 2004. She is survived by her daughters, Mindy (Chris) Little of St. Augustine, FL, Sally Keener of Powell, OH, granddaughters, Angela Keener of Dublin and Molly Keener of Asheville, NC; grandson, Ty Little of Orange Park, FL and a great granddaughter, Josie McConkey. Cleo was a 1939 graduate of Miamisburg High School and worked for Frigidaire as an administrative assistant for almost 15 years and with NCR for 10. She also was employed for a short time at Children’s Hospital of Dayton. Cleo was a member of South Park United Methodist Church, Dayton for many years and most recently was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Kettering. Cleo will be remembered for her compassion for others and loving heart. Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM Monday, February 10, 2014 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM also at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Alan Carroll. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg.
