Cornelius John Gable Jr., age 81, of West Carrollton, OH passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. He was born on June 23, 1942 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Georgia Louise (Cramer) and Cornelius John Gable, Sr. John was a 1960 graduate of Monroe High School. He served in the United States Army, and was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 165 and VFW Post 3438. John retired from Mound Lab in Miamisburg where he worked for 29 years.
John is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Brenda Gable; children, Michelle (Tim Routhier) Simmons, Traci (Chuck) Pearson, Melissa (Dave) DeNoma, Robert (Rachel) Harold, Richard (Jennifer) Harold, John Gable, Jim (Jennifer) Gable; brothers, Gary (Karla) Gable and Roger (Rebekah) Gable; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved ones; his mini golden doodle, Gabe; and cat, Pippy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Avah Dayle Harold.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, or American Heart Association.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 AM Monday, October 23, 2023 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Ave. Miamisburg, OH 45342. Funeral services to follow at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Deacon Terry Martin officiating. Graveside services with Military Honors will be at 12:00 PM Monday at Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Rd. Hamilton, OH 45011.
