Dale Pete H. McMurchy

MCMURCHY, Dale H. “Pete”, age 84 of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 15, 1927 in Miamisburg to the late James A. and Ada L. (Gephart) McMurchy. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his brother, Donald “Mick” McMurchy. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lou (Rammel) McMurchy of Miamisburg; his children, Judy (Ray) Lynch of Hillsboro, Gary (Jackie) McMurchy of West Carrollton, Danny McMurchy of Carlisle, Dianne (Bill) Rogers of Germantown and Lori Reed of Miamisburg, 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; his brother, Gerald (Celia) McMurchy of Miamisburg and sister-in-law, Glenna McMurchy of Eaton. Pete was a 1945 graduate of Miamisburg High School who served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from Reynolds and Reynolds printing company after 42 years as a lithographer. He was a member of the Our Lady of Good Hope Parish, the Austin Healy Club of America, Partners All Square Dance Club and “spousal supervisor” for the Merry Milers Mall-Walkers. Family will receive friends from 2:00 – 5:00 pm Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 am Monday, April 30 at Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Miamisburg. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg.
