Donald Butch E. Lucas Jr.

Age 47 of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Miamisburg passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital. He is survived by his mother, Sandra (Ken) Yeazel; father and his wife, Donald (Phyllis) Lucas, Sr.; sisters, Cindi (Ernie) Riling and their daughter Carly of Centerville, OH, Debra (Matthew) Gray and their daughter Lindsay Brunat of Aurora, CO; step-sisters, Elizabeth (Keith) Ballard of Germantown, OH, and their children, Khris (Alison) Ballard and son, Vincent of Hillsboro, OH, and son, Bryen Ballard of Germantown , Cynthia (Russell) Natkin of Ocala, FL, Terri (Don) Lamb of Trotwood, OH, Traci (Rick) Dextraze and their daughter Jessica Foraker of Bradenton, FL, Tonni (Steve) Brown of West Carrollton, OH and daughter, Amber Brown and her daughters, Gracie and Ava of Centerville, OH; sons, Lucas Brown of Miamisburg, and Logan Brown of West Carrollton, Tamara (Mike) Brown and their son, Jason Brown of West Carrollton and daughter, Justynn Brown of The Ohio State University; and a step brother, Steven (Marybelle) Yeazel and their daughter Lizzie of Germantown, OH. Butch graduated from Miamisburg High School then joined the U.S. Army. After his honorable discharge from the Army he remained on active duty with the Army Reserve for several years. He worked for NCR and Emery Air Freight. He faithfully served as a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Miami Township Fire Department and most recently Miami Valley Hospital. Friends and family may visit from 5-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg. Funeral service will be at 11:30 am Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Johnson officiating. Interment following in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
