Donald Moberly, 85 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed surrounded by family on Monday, January 9, 2017 at his home. He was born in Garrard County Kentucky, the son of Carl Moberly, Levy Clarke and stepmother, Stella Carpenter. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Flora McQueary; daughters, Diana (Christopher) Sanders of Centerville, Sharon Wiley of Miamisburg; granddaughters, Amanda Wiley and Elizabeth Sanders; great grandson, Shaun Leitch and brother, William (Kathy) Moberly. Don was preceded in death by sister, Leola Horton; brothers, Joseph and Lloyd and son-in-law, James Wiley Jr. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in U.S. Army as a Sergeant and retired from Dayton Power & Light after 35 years as a stationary steam engineer. Visitation will be held at Gebhart-Schmidt-Paramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg beginning 1:00pm Friday, January 13, 2017 with services immediately following at 2:00 pm. The family would like to extend a thank you for the love and prayers extended during his illness.
