Donald "Pat" Patrick O'Boyle

Donald Patrick "Pat" O'Boyle, 60, was born on February 16, 1966, and passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 19, 2026, while listening to some of his favorite music at the Rush Concert at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. A lifelong resident of Miamisburg, Ohio, Pat was a 1984 graduate of Miamisburg High School and studied Culinary Arts at Sinclair Community College.

Pat devoted his working life to serving others with steady care and quiet dedication. He was a chef who spent 20 years with Yankee Trace Golf Course and was currently employed with Alcor Supply. In every setting—professional or personal—Pat carried himself with a thoughtful, faithful spirit and a loyalty that could be counted on, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Music was a true companion to Pat throughout his life. He played bass guitar and sang, and he especially enjoyed classic rock. He also proudly loved his San Francisco 49ers.

Pat is survived by his wife of nearly 18 years, Kelly O'Boyle; children, Brandon Ziegeler, Kristen Ziegeler, Devin (Brittney) Ziegeler, Jacob O'Boyle, and Emma O'Boyle; grandchildren, Brayden Williams, Aubree Hargrow, Rylie Ziegeler, Harper Ziegeler, and Elouise Ziegeler; mother, Ellen (Staubus) O'Boyle; sisters-in-law, Cathy Kenton and Lorraine McCoy; his 2 aussies, Hank and Dixie; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack O'Boyle.
