Dorcas E. Morris, age 98, of Miamisburg, OH passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She was born in Richmond, KY on May 22, 1925 to the late Vina E. (Todd) and Charles B. Kindred. She loved quilting and doing crossword puzzles in the Dayton Daily News.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Austin J. "Jack" Morris; daughter, Brenda Haney; 2 sons, Ronald & Jack Morris; son-in-law, Jerry Parlett; and brother, Ellis Kindred.
Dorcas is survived by her 2 daughters, Deborah (Jim) Stachler & Patricia Parlett; son, Michael Morris; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Geraldine Brown & JoAnn Middlestetter; and numerous loved ones.
A viewing will be from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM Friday, September 22, 2023 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg, OH. The funeral service will be at 2:30 PM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Larry McIntosh officiating. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery.
