Dorothy "Dotty" Schumaker

Age 88 of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016. She was born in West Carrollton on December 6, 1927 to the late, Henry E. and Helen (Babylon) Foskuhl. Also preceding her in death is husband, Carl Schumaker; son and daughter-in-law, Romie (Cindy) Schumaker; grandson, Gustin Schumaker; sister, Catherine Dooley and brother, Robert Foskuhl. Dotty is survived by her son, Ron Schumaker; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanie (Jim) Moreland; grandchildren, Levi, Sierra and Salene Schumaker, Marquessa Moreland, Marcus (Alicia) Moreland; great grandchildren, Jaxson and Juliette Moreland. Dotty and Carl owned the Riviera Lounge, Tara Manor Apts. and have owned the Schumaker Farm in Carlisle since 1971. Friends and family may visit from 5-8 PM on Thursday, January 7 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A funeral service will be 11:00AM on Saturday, January 9 at David’s Cemetery Mausoleum, 4600 Mad River Rd. Kettering, Ohio 45429. Dotty will then be laid to rest in David’s Cemetery, Kettering.
