He was born on January 5, 1953 in Hazard, Kentucky. Eddie retired from Appleton Papers after 31 years of service and he poured concrete with his dad for many years as Guerra Construction. Eddie loved tractors, old trucks and classic cars. He was a wonderful musician and played guitar for many local bands and at church. Most of all, Eddie loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Linda (Langford) Guerra; children, Karla (Nathan) Davis and Kayla (Hobie) Milligan; grandchildren, Amanda, Justin, and Brian Davis, Ciarra and Elijah Milligan; great grandchildren, Rylee, Khloee, Maddox, Malakai, and Jaxson; his mother, Mildred Langford; sister, Brenda (John) Byford; sisters-in-law, Diane Daughtery and Sue (Tom) Milby; brothers-in-law, Larry (Martha) Langford and Doug (China) Langford; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Guerra; grandson, Brett Logan Milligan; father-in-law, Earl Langford; brother-in-law, Darrell Langford and his wife, Marcy.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, December, 5, 2024 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Ed Peyton officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Legion Post #165 in Miamisburg.
