Eva Gay Murrell

MURRELL, Eva Gay, age 81, passed away April 13, 2011 at Elmcroft of Washington Township, Centerville. She was born June 13, 1929 in Booneville, Kentucky to the late James Barney and Emma (McKinney) Gay. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Claude Gay. Eva is survived by her husband of 64 years, Courtney Murrell; sons, Monte (Marlissa) Murrell of Beavercreek, OH and Keith (Darlene) Murrell of Mason, OH; grandchildren, Michael (Liza) Murrell, Sarah (Nate) Bealor, Garrett Murrell and Carson Murrell; great grandchildren, Emily and Nathan and her brother Audley (Laura Grace) Gay of Booneville, KY. Eva was a 1946 graduate of Owlsley County High School. She was employed in envelope production with Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 38 years before retiring. Eva was also a member of the Moraine Heights Baptist Church. Family will receive friends Monday, April 18 from 5:00-8:00pm at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home Miamisburg. Funeral services will begin 10:00am Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Moraine Heights Baptist Church, 5661 Munger Rd., Dayton, OH 45459. Burial will take place 12:00pm Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Shepherds Memorial Cemetery, Booneville, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley at 46 N.
