

Glick, Frank M. age 79, of Miamisburg, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at Hospice of Bulter and Warren Counties. Frank was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Francis & Ruth (Howell) Glick August 28, 1936. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his older sister Marge (Glick) Wise and older brother Bernard Glick. Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margaret (Cleary) Glick originally of Indianapolis, his children, Elizabeth Burton of Old Saybrook, CT, John W. Glick of Lake Oswego, OR, Patricia McTigue of Collierville, TN, Linda Kiefer of Concord, MA, and Laura Crank, of Simpsonville, SC as well as a loving daughter-in-law & 4 supportive sons-in-law. Frank was also a proud grandfather to many grandchildren. He was a 1954 graduate of Ben Davis High School, in Indianapolis, IN. He attended GMI – General Motors Institute in Flint Michigan 1959 and received a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He was subsequently employed by Borg Warner and later by Allison Gas Turbine of Indianapolis. In 1970 Frank & Margie moved the family to West Carrollton, OH where he worked at GM's Delco Moraine Division for many years. Then retired and worked a “retirement job” for Allied Signal. For the last 20 years he has resided in Miamisburg, OH, which he used as a base from which to travel with his devoted wife to Europe several times, Alaska and transited the Panama Canal, a bucket list item. He also enjoyed visiting his children and grandchildren attending, many graduations, 1st communion celebrations, dance recitals, plays, soccer games, and grandparent’s days at many schools. When Frank’s travel schedule permitted he was part of a Delco lunch group which he enjoyed and was a faithful member of Our Lady of Good Hope Parrish. Frank was loved by many even with his dry sense of humor, you could always count on him to have your back. Margaret & her family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 8, from 5-7pm, at the Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Ave, Miamisburg, OH. A mass will be held on Wednesday, March 9, at 11:00am at Our Lady of Good Hope Church, 6 S. 3rd St. Miamisburg, OH. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg.
