

age 88 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. He was born on July 25, 1923 in Lewisburg, Ohio to the late Albert L. and Lois (Banta) Lutz. Also preceding him in death is his sister, Alberta Ittel. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gladyse (Brinkman) Lutz; daughter, Susan Keen; grandson, Austin James Taylor, both of Knoxville, TN; and his brother, Leonard Lutz of Indianapolis, IN. Fred served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a communication watch officer. He then went on to attend Miami University, Oxford, Harvard Law School and graduated from the University Of Cincinnati School Of Law with his Judicial Degree. Fred worked as an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New York City. He is a member of the Dayton and Ohio Bar Association and will always be remembered as a well respected attorney for over 50 years in the Dayton area. There will be a graveside service held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Roselawn Cemetery, 601 North Main St. Lewisburg, OH 45338 with Pastor Alan Lutz officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Fred’s memory.
