Gail served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Appleton Papers after 42 years of service. Gail was a member of the American Legion Post 762. He was a very hard worker, and a great father and provider. Gail will be remembered as a great role model and mentor, as well as a wonderful grandfather.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Carolyn (Jeff) Kooser; his children, Angela (Roy) Woods and Jeff (Jennifer) Blair; grandchildren, Michael and Kirsten Blair; great grandchildren, Makenzie Blair, Allissa Blair, Izabella Blair, and Michael Blair; nieces and nephews, Karla Carroll, Randy and Rick Orth, Pauline Miller, Tim and John Blair; as well as several great nieces and great nephews.
Gail was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jennifer Blair; sister, Joann Orth and Pauline Blair; brothers, Ernie and Bill Blair.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 AM – 1 PM on Monday, March 25, 2024 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM. Burial will take place at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg.
