Sherry, Patti, and family: Our belated sympathy; we just learned from Larry and Marti when we bumped into them at Bob Evans. Nothing but fond memories of Jerry, going all the way back to our school days; and, a great sense of gratitude for his devotion to our beloved community. Love and all the best to all of you....

I was 4 years younger than Jerry back in school but he never ever treated you like you were anything but an equal! We became really good friends when we worked together at Max’s barber shop; l, a lowly 9th grader, shined shoes & maintained the back-bar for all the barbers needs and who not only envied Jerry but wanted to be just like him and act so much older than my years never once considering how annoying a teenager had to have been every day for sev. years, but Jerry, being Jerry, would snicker, laugh & share stories just like l was one of the guys! Years later,we would run into each other at The Dayton Post Office where l worked in maintenance and Jerry would perform elevator repairs and then again at St. James. Wow, to know someone like Jerry ,for most of my life, well, l am truly blessed and so thankful for his guidance, patience but mostly his love & friendship. Sherry, Lee Ann & Wendy my condolences and may Our Lord & Savior heal your precious hearts as your dear Husband & Father listens & talks with Jesus.
