Gladys "Jo" Joann Leach

Gladys Joann Leach, 85, passed away at Stonespring of Vandalia on June 24, 2023. Joann was preceded in death by her son Mark Leach (Oct 2021) and her husband of 55 years Claude Leach (May 2013). Her parents, Izzie Mae and Alex Deaton; her brothers Alfred, Edward, and Luther; and her sisters Jane, Pauline, Ruth and Velma. She leaves behind her in-laws Maurice (Wanda) Leach, Irma Gibson, Sandra (Teddy) Petrey, and her many nieces and nephews. She was born in Heidelberg, Ky on July 21, 1937 and moved to Ohio in the late 50’s. She was a long time resident of Miamisburg and spent many years as a homemaker. She also worked at Woody’s Market in their floral department. She loved crafting, playing the piano, and being ornery. She especially enjoyed spoiling her Angela and Adam. She was a member of the Miamisburg Christian Church and First Baptist before that where she taught Sunday school. She loved all her family and friends and she was loved by so many. We know she is having many happy reunions in heaven.

A graveside service for Jo will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Hillgrove Cemetery, 1012 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342.
