Harold H Stevens

Stevens, Harold age 89, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away March 30, 2011 at Hospice of Butler County, due to a stroke. He was born on October 28, 1921 to the late Newell and Cora Stevens in Manchester, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Ryan Charles Dionne in 2004. He is survived by his wife of 65 wonderful years, Pauline (Adcock) Stevens; a son Richard (Debbie) Stevens of Cape Coral, Florida; a daughter, Kathy (Jim) Dionne of Miamisburg; two granddaughters: Amy (Doug) Pierce; Holli Dionne Michael; three great-grandchildren: Danielle, Nicolas and Ryan. Harold was a wonderful husband and father who loved his family and friends dearly, always putting others needs ahead of his. He served in the United States Navy for 6 years during WWII. He retired from Miami Paper Company in West Carrollton after 42 years. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg, Ohio officiated by Pastor Mike Tuttle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dayton Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Dayton in Harold’s memory.
