Harold Winkler

WINKLER, Harold, age 63 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at his residence with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Winkler. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda (Adcock) Winkler, son, Scott (Teresa) Winkler; daughter, April Winkler-Dameron; his mother, Alice (Rawlins) Winkler; grandchildren, Ayla and Mike Dameron, Chris and Jared Winkler, Derek Watkins; great-grandchildren, Hayden Dameron, Kaylin Clark; brothers, JW (Brenda) Winkler, Gary (Debbie) Winkler, Joy (Gary) Collier; brothers-in-law, Mike (Betty Jo) Adcock, Steve Meadows; many nieces and nephews; and very good friends, Bob and Pat Vorhis. Harold served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from GM as a machinist after 26 years of service. He also enjoyed spending his time deer hunting and riding 4 wheelers with his family. A gathering of friends will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 11am- 1pm at the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, 508 E. Linden Ave, Miamisburg with a memorial service following at 1:00pm. Inurnment following at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
