Hazel died peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. She was born on September 3, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio to the late, Tyus Cecil Grammar and Leona Mae Childers. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Leland Eisele; children, Theresa L. (Bruce H.) Hand, Robert M. (Sandra R.) Eisele, Rebecca J. (Dale A.) Bond; brother, Michael R. (Desiree) Sweeten; sister-in-law, Martha Eisele; grandchildren, Jeremy S. Killian, Jesemy S. Eisele, Jezdan S. (Whitney E.) Eisele, Bianca D. Hand, Tara A. Eisele, Dana L. Eisele, Cori M. Eisele, Jamie N. Bond, Olivia L. Bond; great-grandchildren, Michael A. Killian, Marissa A. Killian, Aliyah G. Wilhelm, Talayna E. Eisele, Cayden R. Pennington, Kayann L. Wilhelm, Lilian B. Eisele, Kenzie L. Eisele, Ja’kye M. Hoard ; niece, Noran S. Sweeten, nephews, Michael P. Sweeten, Jubal A. Sweeten; dear friends, Marianne & Roy Boggs, Joye Gutheil, Mary & Dean Goodwin, Diane Brown, Lois Dempsey, Dick & Judy Church and so many more. Hazel served on the Miamisburg Council for 17 years, retired from H&R Block Executive Tax Service after 23 years and served a term as Vice Mayor of Miamisburg. She was Chairman of the Miamisburg Spring Fling Committee for many years, a member of the Miamisburg Beautification Committee & CDAC and has been a long time member of St. James United Methodist Church. Hazel also was a stay at home Mom to raise her family through their school years and enjoyed volunteering, sewing, gardening and travel, especially to the beach! The family would like to Thank Miami Valley Hospital, Kingston of Miamisburg and Kindred Homecare for their wonderful care and support over the last several months. Friends and family may visit from 3-7pm on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00am on Monday, June 1 at St. James United Methodist Church, 401 Carlwood Dr. Miamisburg with Pastor Deb Holder officiating.
