Jean Lynn Basore

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Howard F. Fry Jr. "Bud", Charles L. Fry, Jill Conley, Lewis Martin Fry "Marty"; grandson, Timmy Kline; son-in-law, Charles Throckmorton; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Bob Basore; 5 children, Buddy Kline (Stacey), Greg (Cheryl) Kline, Roby Basore, Ronnie Basore, Chris (Angie) Basore, Jamie Throckmorton; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Earl Conley.

She loved going to her grandkids' baseball and basketball games. Jean enjoyed going to the pool and tanning in the sun. She was a good cook and made the best baked beans. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she went all out - even the bathroom got decorated. She had a snowman collection that she loved to display. She got a big kick out of the annual Easter egg hunt that she and Bob hosted. Most of all, Jean loved being with her family and having everyone together.

3 years ago, Chris and Angie took Jean and Bob on an unforgettable trip out West. Jean cherished this last vacation where they visited too many places to list, including the Grand Canyon. She kept the pictures scrolling through on her computer as a constant reminder.

Jean was always there for you, and she will be dearly missed.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 E. Linden Ave. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Final resting place at Hillgrove Union Cemetery, Miamisburg, Ohio.
