

Age 88 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 24, 1926 in Bluffton, Ohio to the late, Howard C. and Ava (Treece) Hahn. Also preceding her in death is her husband, T. Ben Rhinehammer and brother, Rev. Howard Hahn Jr. Jean is survived by daughters, Anne (Rick) Potteiger of Eaton and Cynthia (Ken) Gasser of DeKalb, IL; grandchildren, Melissa Potteiger of Miamisburg, David (Kimberli) Potteiger of Milwaukee, WI, Adam Gasser of Chicago, IL, and Jessica (Michael Bradshaw) Gasser of Boston, MA; great-grandchildren, Kiera, Amara, Benjamin, Blayke, Madyson and Tyson; sisters-in-law, Alma Rhinehammer of Warm Springs, GA and Mary Hahn of Mesa, AZ and nieces, Becky, Myra, Sue and Alice. Jean has been a long time member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. She attended Bowling Green State University for 3 years then went on to receive her Bachelors of Science from Indiana State University and has taught school for over 38 years, mainly throughout Miamisburg. She taught for 33 years at Mound and Bauer Schools. Family will receive friends from 3:30pm-5pm on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Miamisburg. A memorial service will follow at 5:00pm, also at the church and officiated by Rev. Christina Schueller.
