I met Joan late in her life as she struggled with health issues. We talked at length about her love for her girls.
She talked about her music and her piano. I only wish I could have met her before. Every time I would visit I would look at that beautiful piano and try to imagine her playing beautiful music.
To her family, remember her in her vibrant earlier life. I’m sure when you hear a song she wrote or just loved.....just smile and know she is with you.
Her body is now free of pain and illness and sitting at a beautiful piano and smiling.

My sweet Aunt Joan. She was always so kind to me from the first time we met before she was even my aunt. I stayed with her for a few weeks once and I remember just feeling her love for me so clearly. Although life took us physically apart, she is forever in my heart.
