Joanne M. Osborne

OSBORNE, Joanne M., age 54 of Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born August 12, 1958 in Middletown, OH to the late James Lewis (dec’d 2011) and Marie (Goins) Lewis of Miamisburg. In addition to her father, Joanne was preceded in death by her brother, Jesse Clay Lewis; parents-in-law Wallace and Jewel Osborne and brothers-in-law, Wayne Ott and John Luttrell. Joanne is survived by her husband of 37 years, Charles W. Osborne of Miamisburg; her son, Chris A. Osborne of Kettering; a brother, James Ray Lewis; sisters, Brenda K. Ott of Miamisburg and Gloria (Kenny) Houghtlang of Wilmington; sister-in-law, Anita Jewel Osborne of Miamisburg and her cat, Sheba as well as numerous friends and other extended family. Joanne was a 1976 graduate of Miamisburg High School and was employed by Kettering Medical Network for 23 years. She was a member of the Rejoicing Life Church of God where she involved herself in the praise and worship team with her gift of music. Joanne also served as the Sunday School Secretary and loved working with the “Joybelles”. She was always the life of the party adding laughter to many of our lives. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Rejoicing Life Church of God, 54 S. Gebhart Church Rd., Miamisburg, OH 45342. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 pm also at the church and officiated by Pastor John F. Corcoran. Burial will take place at West Memory Gardens, Moraine.
