Joseph Francis Bishop

BISHOP, Joseph F., 69 years old, died on Friday, August 12, 2016 in Miamisburg, Ohio following short illness. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Joseph and Jacqueline Bishop. His beloved wife of 23 years, Janet, died in August 2011. He is survived by sisters, Sharon Leach (David) of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Charlotte Wood (Greg) of Arlington, Texas. He leaves behind his cherished dog, Molly, and his 28-year old cockatiel, Petey. Joseph worked at Elder Beerman department store in Dayton, Ohio for 16 years where he was highly regarded for his professionalism and sense of humor. His coworkers were family to him and they made every effort to watch over him. Joseph was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Albuquerque, NM and Joseph will be interred at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
