CAPACCIO, Joseph M., age 85 of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born September 27, 1927 in Chicago, IL to the late Anthony and Angeline (Capadano) Capaccio. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Ree (Young) Capaccio; brothers, Frank Capaccio, Ross Capaccio, Vito Capaccio, Jerry Capaccio, James Capaccio and Nicholas Capaccio; sisters, Mary Giangarasso, Theresa Capaccio and Rose Dulik and his first wife, Loretta (Bakalla) Capaccio. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Patricia (Lee) Townley of Miamisburg; step-daughter, Mary Ellen (Jim) Gold of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Tony (Kara) Abruscato, Lori Abruscato, Joseph “Joey” (Janine) Warmowski, Johnny (Becky) Warmowski and Christi (Fred) Hernandez; great grandchildren, Danielle, Kody, Austin, Destiny, Brianna, Kayla, Tony and Giovanni; a sister, Jennie Capaccio of South Haven, MI as well as numerous other extended family and friends. Joe served in the US Army from 1945 – 1947 and held many jobs as his self-learned skills made him quite flexible in the job market. He mostly concentrated his energies in the field of construction and enjoyed golf in his spare time. He was a member of the Miamisburg Moose Lodge and American Legion Post #165. Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, April 1, 2013 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will begin 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Our Lady of Good Hope Church Miamisburg, as celebrated by Father Tom Nevels. Burial will follow with military honors at Our Lady of Good Hope Cemetery, Miamisburg.
