Joseph Joe G. Lamantia

Lamantia, Joseph G., age 53 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 18, 2012 at his residence in the presence of family. Joe was born March 25, 1958 in Lima, OH to the late Richard J. “Dick” and Pauline L. Lamantia. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nell (Eagle) Lamantia; his children, Frank J. (Tricia) Lamantia of Columbus, Lucinda C. (Rob) Hildebrand of Centerville and Anne Maria Falconi of West Chester; grandchildren, Joseph (Jamie) Binegar, Austin R. Burnside and Amanda R. Burnside; siblings, Debbie (Gary) Smith, Mark Lamantia, Ann Lamantia, Phil (Colleen) Lamantia, Richard (Sandy) Lamantia, Matt (Rachelle) Lamantia as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was a 1976 graduate of Patterson Coop and attended Sinclair Community College. Throughout his career he worked for NCR, Crysteco, and Montgomery County Water Services. Joe was a member of the Moose Lodge 1645 and enjoyed playing poker. Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 am Thursday, March 22 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, 2300 S. Smithville Rd., Dayton, OH 45420, celebrant, Father Satish Joseph. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Good Hope Cemetery, Miamisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception’s Blessing of Ten fund at the address above.
