My deepest sympathy to Julie’s family and friends.

Being a neighbor and friend over the past 13 years, we spoke often, as we both worked in our yards many a weekend, catching up with each other during such time. We both shared a love of walking and a relaxing on our decks/patio after work. She also enjoyed connecting with my dog.

Like many, I was shocked to have learned of her sudden illness and passing . She’s touched me and so many others, by sharing her gifts of friendship and caring . She will be greatly missed but never forgotten!

Wishing you peace and comfort as you remember Julie.

So many memories of Jamie, Julie, and Lisa as we were growing up. Along with Becky Donaldson, Annette LaMar, Sheri Weidner we would spend hours playing hop scotch, riding bikes, playing barbies, coloring in our coloring books, on the front porch, on rainy days. Remember playing “I Spy” with our gang from our block and Donaldsons block. Staying outside till the street lights came on. I was just thinking about their dog, Lucky, the other day.
Sending my sincere condolences to Mr. and Mrs. Shafer, Jamie, Lisa and the rest of the family. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.💕🙏🏻🙏🏻💕

I have so many memories of Julie ... Jamie and Lisa as well. We all grew up together. Mostly... aside from getting in trouble a lot 😇 I remember hours of jump rope in the middle of the street in front of their house and sitting on the curbs in the summertime waiting for the street lights to come on and send us all running home. I have a darling photo of my sister Mickey and Julie dressed as Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy one year for Halloween. On behalf of the Donaldson family I send our love and condolences to the entire Shafer family.

Our condolences to family and friends of Julie. Jewels was/is one of my best friends. She is part of the "six pack" group of friends that have been friends, traveled, laughed, cried, celebrated for over 30 years. Favorite memory is her absolutely gorgeous Christmas tree. May not be here physically, but always here spiritually. Rest in peace, my friend. Love ya sis, Cathy Keys
